My Experience With Elle 18 Color Pop Matte Deep Pink Lipstick
Elle 18 Color Pop Matte Lipstick comes in simple & sleek black packaging with a lovely girl’s face printed over the cap. But the packaging is common to all lipsticks by Elle 18, only shade name and code has mentioned at the base of the lipstick, so it is quite difficult to identify a particular shade. The lipsticks are haul-able but the twist-up mechanism is slight on the downside. Nevertheless, the packaging is girly, eye catching and easy to deal with.
In this range, you are getting some great shades at a very cheap price for 4.3 grams of product. The amount doesn’t matter to me as I am very happy if I am on the verge of finishing a lipstick. “Deep Pink” looks lighter in the tube, though the name is deep pink.
The Texture of the Elle 18 matte lipstick is soft, creamy and smooth. It glides on the lips like a dream and there is no tugging or pulling. Although it won’t hurt dry and flaky lips at all but it would be neat and proper if you exfoliate them beforehand.
If you coat on two layers. In one layer, it is a nice pink. It can be layered on to make it a bright pink too. I did not find it matte at all. It has a satin finish. The lipstick feels slightly waxy. It is not buttery at all. You will have to build it up well. I am happy it has not broken as yet, like all the other Elle 18 lipstick.
