Style a Headwrap in 4 Different Ways

1. The Classic Headband

The classic is simple to make. Start by using one hand to pull your hair into a high ponytail. Take the longer end of your wrap and place it over your ponytail, stretching it out as much as possible without breaking.

Take the shorter end of your wrap and secure it over the bottom of your ponytail with an elastic band or hair tie. At last, tie it in a knot on the side of your head. There is a variety of top knot & interlocking headwraps that can be used according to your personal preferences with any outfit you want.

2. The Turban

The turban is one of the most versatile options for tying your hair. It can be worn tight or loose and works well with both short and long hair. So, no worry about whichever type of hair you have.

Simply begin by taking a length of fabric that is about 3 times as long as your hair and wrapping it around your head from back to front so that the ends meet in front of your forehead.

An interlocking headwrap is also available. This type of wrap is created by interlocking one end of a scarf with the other in a crisscross pattern. It is then wrapped around your head and tucked behind your ears. This style can be worn loosely or tightly, depending on your preference.

3. The Bandana

Headwraps can also be formed with bandanas. To make a headwrap out of a bandana, fold your bandana in half and wrap it around your hair like a turban, taking care to conceal all of your hair. However, before wearing your hair, make sure you choose the hairstyle that suits your face shape

Twist one end of the scarf into a small knot and tuck it under the other end. Make sure that there are no loose ends at the back of your neck, and make sure that they’re tucked in securely before you flip up your turban.

4. The Bow

The bow headwrap is one of the most popular styles of tying a headwrap. It’s very easy to do and looks gorgeous. All you have to do is start by folding your scarf in half and then placing it around your hair like a bun.

Then, using both hands, hold the two corners together while pulling each side outward in opposite directions so that they meet in the middle at your crown. Once there, pull on each side as tightly as possible so that you’re able to wrap it around both sides again before tying them into a secure knot.
